AOS - Unable to create new files or folders with a mapped network drive

Description

With AOS 1.3.2 (and 1.3.2.1) an error occurs when the user tries to create a new file or folder within a network mapped drive (on Windows) mapped to the "<ALFRESCO_URL>/aos" folder.
User is able to navigate through folders and edit existing files, but not to create a new file.

Supporting evidence

Steps to reproduce

  • Setup ACS 6.2.2 with AOS 1.3.2 (or AOS 1.3.2.1)

  • Setup a network mapped drive on Windows pointing to "<ALFRESCO_BASE_URL>/alfresco/aos"

  • Navigate inside a folder and create a new file

Expected Behaviour

The new file is created without issues.

Observed Behaviour

The new file is not created, and an error is displayed on Windows saying "error 0x8000FFFF: Catastophic failure" (see attachment "error.png").
No errors are printed within the Alfresco logs and looking at the network requests an HTTP 500 is returned:

Additional findings

The error does not occur when using AOS 1.3.1 or when the network drive is mapped on the webdav folder ("/alfresco/webdav")
