Alfresco Mobile iOS App login does not work with Kerberos SSO enabled
When using the Alfresco Mobile App iOS, use login does not work with basic authentication.
Alfresco version is 6.2.2 and Alfresco Mobile App is 2.8 (20200512.2)
authentication.chain is alfrescoNtlm1:alfrescoNtlm,kerberos1:kerberos,ldap1:ldap-ad
kerberos.authentication.sso.enabled = true
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Alfresco App for iOS version 2.8
2. Open App
3. Enter Server URL, Port, Service Document and click continue
4. Enter username and password
Login should be successful with provided username and password.
You will see an error message.
Also, there is no entry in localhost access logs or alfresco.log or share.log.
Connection to Alfresco perfectly fine when using the browser (Safari) on the phone.
Tested on Android OS mobile, authentication failed.
Also tried the workaround provided in the solution article:

Edit web.xml at <Alfresco_Home>/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF
and remove the following section.
Login failed, however got the below message in the logs:

Hi, not sure based on the response if the client is happy with the workaround they found and we just want to monitor their production rollout?
I agree that’s the preferred approach. can we sync up on how to best communicate to the client ?
Any chance we can reach out to the client and propose our newly launched app as an alternative to fixing this ticket?
